POLICY

PHOTOS/VIDEOS:

  • Please allow at least 2-3 weeks turnaround time from the date of the session. You will be informed of the estimated turnaround time during the editing process. (this can be expedited for a fee)

  • Photos/videos will be uploaded to a google drive folder and shared with client.

  • PsychoShotz reserves the right to post the photos/videos on social media and website, unless otherwise requested by the client.

  • Please tag PsychoShotz on social media if you choose to post the photos/videos. (Do not tag if you have edited or changed the photos/videos.)

 

PAYMENT:

  • A non-refundable 50% initial payment is required to secure your booking. Payment is due IMMEDIATELY upon signing the contract. 

  • The remaining balance is due BEFORE the session begins. You can always pay ahead!

  • You must pay and arrange for any permissions and permits needed to photograph the shoot. Please make any necessary arrangements well in advance, before booking is finalized!

 

LATENESS:

  • The session will begin and end at its scheduled time. If you are late, and need to add more time, you will be billed for the additional time. Additional time is dependent on my availability and approval. 

 

RESCHEDULE:

  • Please notify me 48-hours in advance of your booking to reschedule. Your initial payment will carry over once for free. Any scheduling less than 48-hours (before the session begins) requires an additional fee of 30% payment of the total cost. Reschedules and any changes made to the agreed upon booking is dependent on my availability and approval. 

 

CANCELLATION:

  • If you choose to cancel, your initial payment will not be refunded.

  • I will only cancel in extreme cases such as medical emergencies. If I must cancel, your initial payment will not be refunded. However, you can use the payment to reschedule at no extra fee. Another option is to use the payment towards a new booking.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

All my clients deserve and will receive a detailed conversation about my services and how I can best provide them for your specific session and needs! This can be done in whatever format is most comfortable for you text, call, email etc. I would love to speak to you over the phone for that added personal touch, for us to get to know each other better and work together to achieve your desired looks! I always send written confirmation of the estimate and finalized bookings for both of us to refer back to.

 

What types of clients have you worked with?

All sorts of people! I’ve worked with families, parents, couples, young children, teenagers, grandparents, models, performers, artists, work professionals and probably anyone you can think of!

 

What is your pricing like and can you work around my budget?

I do understand budget limits and would love for you to reach out to me so we can see what to do!  The pricing is dependent on the type of photography service and the duration of the session. However, I try my best to let my prices reflect the skillful quality and effort I put into my work! I am always happy to make sure you are comfortable with the prices and my services. 

If you would like to book a session with me, I’d be more than happy to give a breakdown and details of my services and what is included!

 

Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes! The travel fee is dependent on the miles/tolls and travel time but I will let you know in your estimate quote.

 

Do you charge for additional locations?

Yes, multiple locations are an additional fee depending on the miles/tolls and travel time. Please let me know if you have multiple locations beforehand so I can include it in the estimate.

 

When and how do I pay?

I accept payment through ZELLE. I will provide the full details in your estimate. I require a 50% initial payment to secure your booking, which is due immediately upon signing the contract. The remainder of the payment is due before the session begins. 

 

What is your turnaround time? 

My turnaround time for most shoots is 1-2 weeks but I will let definitely let you know if it’s any sooner or longer! My turnaround time does not begin until you have made the selection of photos to be edited. 

 

Is there a way to get my photos faster?

You can absolutely expedite the editing and delivery of your photos for a fee!

 

How many photos do you give?

I typically give ALL the edited digital photos I take from the session! The number of edited digital photos is dependent on the shoot. All photos are provided in high resolution.

 

Do you allow revisions?

Of course! I allow one revision but if you’re still not satisfied, feel free to reach out and we can definitely work it out!

 

What if I have to reschedule or cancel?

I completely understand if a rescheduling needs to be done. Hopefully, we can find a new date that works for us! Please refer to my policy to find out more and feel free to ask me any questions!

 

What if I am late?

If you are late the session will begin and end at it’s scheduled time. If we run out of time and you need me to stay longer, I’ll let you know if I can. Usually, I have back to back shoots so there is a possibility I won’t be able to accommodate for extra time. 

 

Do you sell prints/books?

As of now, I am not selling prints/books but all photos are provided in high resolution, perfect for printing elsewhere!

 

Do you allow outfit changes?

Yes of course, however, please notify before finalizing your booking so I can plan accordingly. 

 

Are you okay with being tagged in the photos?

Yes! I would love to be tagged in any photo you post. I really appreciate when my clients share my business with their following! However, if you change the photos or add your own edits, I kindly ask that you not tag me in those. This is because, although I took those photos, the edits are not representative of my work. 

 

What advice would you give a client looking to hire a photographer?
Look for a photographer who isn’t just affordable, but is the best fit for you! You deserve a photographer who can capture your vision and bring it to life. Find someone who will listen to what’s important to you! Ask all the questions you need, if you can’t be comfortable or confident with your photographer, then you won’t be able to be yourself in the photos. Look for that connection, and I really hope you find it with me!
